Yeah... so the school year starts up and I immediately forget I that I have a scanner or something. XD
This is my final for the Illustration Department t-shirt design contest, one version on black and another on white. Well, I think it's the final anyway. I've still got a week to make adjustments.
EDIT: Seems I won the contest. That was unexpected. ^_^
DRAW ALL THE TIME. It doesn't matter what you're drawing, if you keep doing it then you'll get better at it.
And in spite of what I just said above, drawing from life if important if you can manage it. The more you know about how things work in real life, the easier it is to manipulate them on paper when you don't want them to be quite like life.
But really, as far as HOW to draw goes. I can't really help much there in the literal sense. Everyone develops their own techniques and ways of drawing naturally as they work, but I think the best way to improve is to find yourself a teacher. Maybe take some actual classes if you're really interested. It's important to have someone else there to look at your work as you go along.
... I don't know if all that made perfect sense, but I hope it helps some. ^_^

"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.
